Helping & Healing
Helping means healing.
One in five 19- to 64-year-old adults who were insured spent 5% or more of their income on out-of-pocket costs.
MCCF is an independent 501(c)(3) organization that partners with generous donors so insured patients in desperate need can receive the essential treatment they need.
No one should have to decide between essential healthcare for a life-threatening or life-changing condition—and the necessities of housing and food. Yet, this is often the case for insured patients living with expensive-to-treat diseases like cancer or hepatitis. The out-of-pocket costs of premiums, deductibles and co-pays can exceed what insured patients can afford, evidenced by the number of patients who are either denied access or forced into bankruptcy because of rising healthcare costs.
At MCCF, our mission is to provide financial assistance to insured patients who would otherwise not be able to afford essential treatment for a life-threatening or life-changing condition. By making it easy for them to apply for assistance and by relieving the financial burden of costly treatment, MCCF allows patients (and their caregivers) to focus on improving their condition and quality of life. Please consider partnering with us to help more patients in need receive the treatment they need.
Reaching where the need is greatest.
The MCCF offers assistance to patients in a wide variety of diagnosis areas for prescribed products and treatments, with a focus on patients who have the greatest need. We rely on funding to increase how many patients we can serve—and to expand the disease and therapeutic classes that our programs cover.
MCCF is a qualified 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization with over 45 years of experience assisting patients to obtain their life-saving medications. We are not endowed. Instead, we can only serve as many people as the generosity of others allows. It is only through the generosity of donors that allows MCCF to expand the funding we can make available to our patients. Any donation that you or your company provides is tax-deductible.
