What to Expect

Individual Attention

MCCF gives each patient one-on-one attention. We work directly with insured patients to help them apply and, if enrolled, pay for the co-pays, deductibles and co-insurance for their treatment.

After your complete application has been received, it will be reviewed, and a decision will be processed within 48 hours. You will be notified by mail and, if enrolled, you will receive a welcome letter along with the MCCF assistance card. The assistance card will be loaded with the funds needed for your first treatment. Based on your insurance statement of benefits, MCCF can anticipate how much financial assistance you’ll need to complete your treatment.

The MCCF Assistance Card

MCCF is the only existing 501(c)(3) charity that uses an automated system and payment card technology for providing funds to patients. With this technology, funds can become available the same day to avoid any delay in receiving emergent treatment. If you are enrolled, you will receive an MCCF card. Once it is activated, your healthcare provider or pharmacy may swipe the card to complete payment. MCCF cards are accepted at 56,800 pharmacies nationwide, and can only be used at approved locations for approved products/medications.
