What if I am receiving assistance from another organization?
If you are receiving assistance for the same medication and/or treatment, you will not be eligible for this program. However, if it is a different medication and/or treatment, you will qualify for this program if you meet all eligibility requirements.
Do I have to be a US citizen to apply?
Yes, you must be a US citizen and live in the US or Puerto Rico.
How much financial assistance may I receive?
The amount you are eligible for is calculated according to your responses and documents provided during the application process.
Do I need insurance to qualify?
Yes, you do. This includes both commercial and government insurance. Examples of government insurance are Medicare, Medicaid and TriCare.
How long does the application process take?
Your application will be completed 48 hours after the receipt of ALL required documentation needed by the program.
How will I know if my application has been approved for assistance?
Patients who are approved for assistance will receive a phone call within 48 hours of application.
Can I select any pharmacy/physician that I would like?
This is dependent on your insurance company’s policies.
Will you pay my doctor, hospital or pharmacy directly?
You will do this with the card provided to you upon approval for assistance.
Who has access to my information at MCCF?
Your trained, HIPAA-compliant MCCF representative.
What am I responsible for in order to remain eligible for assistance??
You must keep all documentation up to date and also follow the Terms and Conditions of the program. If you fail to use the card within 90 days of the funds being loaded, your eligibility for the program will be revoked and the card will be made inactive.
